First Federal Savings of Middletown, a local community bank celebrating its 125th Anniversary in 2014, is pleased to announce its new website, designed with a fresh look, updated information about its products and
services and a new Online banking solution to provide customers secure, convenient access to their First Federal accounts. Additionally, the new site includes

Maggie Smith named CEO
The Board of directors of First Federal Savings of Middletown is proud to announce the appointment of Margaret R. (Maggie) Smith to the position of Chief
Executive Officer.
A 30+ year employee of First Federal, Mrs. Smith has served in many capacities at the bank through the years including COO and CFO. She was most recently named Bank President in 2008.
Mrs. Smith is also an active community volunteer. Currently serving as board chairman at the YMCA of Middletown, member of the ORMC Foundation board, treasurer for the Wallkill Rotary Club, as well as treasurer and board member for Leadership Orange.

Ken Abt announces retirement after 45 year career
After a storied 45 year career at First Federal Savings
of Middletown, longtime President & CEO Kenneth J. Abt
has announced his retirement effective December 15,
2009.
First Federal owes a deep debt of gratitude to Ken for his many years of steady leadership. We are happy to report that though retiring to Florida, Ken intends to continue to serve the bank as Board Chairman.
